Monad Federal Credit Union was organized and chartered May
31, 1955 by a group of individuals employed by the Northern
Pacific Railway. They wanted a place to pool their savings
so that they could lend it to each other at affordable rates.
This was the original purpose of the credit union 45 years
ago, and still is today.
