If you receive a call from someone claiming to be from Monad, or from the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), or any other credit union organization, and they are asking for your credit card number, debit card number, account number, or other personal information …DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM.

Those people are SCAMMERS. They want your personal financial information so that they can steal from you. NO ONE FROM MONAD WILL EVER CONTACT YOU AND ASK FOR THIS INFORMATION. We already have it on file. We have no reason to contact you and ask for it. If you do receive one of these calls, please contact our office immediately to report it. Protect your identity and your money. NEVER GIVE PERONAL INFORMATION over the phone to someone THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW.

Member Alert!
Members and non-members are reporting that they are receiving text messages and phone calls about their Monad debit or credit cards. They are being told that their card has been deactivated and they need to call to have it activated and the block removed. These messages are a scam and are not coming from Monad. We know these calls sound convincing, but no one from Monad will ever contact you and ask for your account number or other personal information.

A legitimate fraud prevention company, like the ones we use to process both your credit card and debit card transactions, may contact you to verify that a transaction performed was authorized by you, but they will never ask for your account number, pin, or other personal information. They will only verify that the transaction was in fact performed by you.

If you receive one of these calls or suspect that fraudulent transactions are being made on your account, please contact our office immediately at 545-1406.
